Missie
De Bachelor of Science in het voortgezet wiskunde onderwijs zal instructieprogramma's die hooggekwalificeerde, staat gecertificeerd leraren klaar voor toetreding in een 6-12 omgeving te produceren. De fundamenten van het programma omarmen diversiteit, het bevorderen van ethiek in het onderwijs, richten zich op student excellentie, en het verbeteren van onderwijs en leren door middel van innovatieve instructie praktijken.

Dit door de staat Florida goedgekeurde programma voldoet aan de onderwijscursussen, professionele onderwijscompetenties en praktijkervaring die vereist zijn om een vijfjarig Professional Educator's Certificate in Mathematics Education te behalen.

Apply for Admission to the BS Program
Na voltooiing van de eerste twee jaar en het behalen van een AA-graad moeten studenten toelating tot het Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education-programma aanvragen en aan aanvullende toelatingseisen voldoen. Bovendien moeten studenten een "C" of hoger behalen in alle BS-programmacursussen en moeten ze gedurende het hele programma een algemene GPA van 2,5 of hoger behouden.
Year 3
Bepaalde cursussen worden mogelijk niet in elk semester aangeboden. Het wordt ten zeerste aanbevolen dat studenten samenwerken met een adviseur binnen de School of Education om te zorgen voor een juiste planning van de lessen, zodat ze op koers blijven richting afstuderen.
