Marbella International University Centre (MIUC) is een wereldwijd academisch instituut dat een nieuw soort leerervaring biedt op basis van een carrièregericht curriculum en een unieke leefomgeving.
Het Universitair Centrum legt de nadruk op de onderlinge verbondenheid van onderwijs van hoge kwaliteit en het bedrijfsleven in de moderne wereld en is trots op zijn dynamische bachelor- en masterprogramma's. Het combineert een moderne benadering van onderwijspraktijken met een sterke nadruk op ondersteunende diensten voor studenten.

MIUC facility is located in a quiet area of Marbella, at walking distance to the city centre and the beach, Marbella International University Centre is a secure and gated campus with a beautiful landscape and sea view.
Marbella International University Centre Campus - We boast multimedia-powered classrooms, a media lab and a library, an indoor/outdoor canteen, parking spots, a tennis court, and a gorgeous swimming pool with a jacuzzi.
Classrooms
Our classrooms have a capacity of approximately 20 students. Small classes provide excellent interaction between students and academics. Each classroom is equipped with the most advanced technology – interactive whiteboard projector screens integrated into the Blackboard platform.
Library
The MIUC Library is a fundamental facility for our academic community, offering a wide range of educational materials to support faculty and student's academic and research needs. Serving as a central hub for study materials, our library is more than just a repository of books; it's a dynamic space where students can enhance their information literacy skills and engage in scientific research with guidance and support. At MIUC Library, we are committed to fostering a culture of learning and discovery.

Sports and Extracurricular
Bij Marbella International University Centre bieden we een levendig aanbod aan sport, sociale activiteiten en excursies om de universitaire ervaring van onze studenten te verrijken. Onze sportprogramma's omvatten tennis, golf en voetbal, waarbij fysieke fitheid en teamwerk worden bevorderd. Sociale activiteiten variëren van culturele evenementen tot studentenclubs, waardoor een hechte gemeenschap ontstaat. Application Process
Online Application Form
U moet het online aanvraagformulier invullen en alle vereiste bewijsstukken opsturen. Alle ondersteunende documenten moeten officieel worden vertaald in het Engels of Spaans. U kunt ervoor kiezen om alle bewijsstukken in één keer samen met uw aanvraag te uploaden of dit op een later tijdstip te doen door ze te e-mailen.
Application Process
Nadat u uw bewijsstukken heeft ingediend, wordt er contact met u opgenomen voor een acceptatiegesprek met een lid van Admissions om u als individu beter te leren kennen en uw aanvraag beter te beoordelen. Vervolgens wordt uw aanvraag verwerkt door Admissions.
Acceptance
Nadat de afdeling Opname een beslissing heeft genomen, ontvangt u een acceptatie- of een afwijzingsbrief. Als u bent geaccepteerd, ontvangt u ook een betalingsinstructieblad. Om uw plaats te garanderen, moet u 1200 euro betalen als eerste termijn, die niet-restitueerbaar is en slechts één keer in rekening wordt gebracht bij aanvang van de inschrijving.
Admission
Na ontvangst van het collegegeld voor het eerste semester zal de afdeling Admissions een officiële toelatingsbrief afgeven. Dit is, indien van toepassing, het document dat u nodig heeft om uw studentenvisumaanvraagproces te starten.

Who needs a VISA?
Iedereen die geen EU-paspoorthouder is, heeft een studentenvisum nodig om in Spanje te studeren. Hoewel de meeste vereisten voor een studentenvisum van land tot land vergelijkbaar zijn, ben jij het die moet verifiëren bij de diplomatieke missie waar je je aanvraag gaat indienen, en wat de exacte vereisten zijn voor het land waar je woont, ook al is er een officieel informatieblad uitgegeven door de overeenkomstige diplomatieke missie. Missie, wordt door deze instelling gestuurd. Houd er rekening mee dat er last-minute updates kunnen zijn.
What Documents Do You Need for Your Visa?
- An official application form that we will send to you and you also can get from the Diplomatic Mission. For country-specific requirements, you can also contact the university.
- Een paspoort of reisdocument met een geldigheidsduur van minimaal één jaar na uw geplande aankomst, al adviseren wij altijd dat het paspoort na uw geplande vertrek nog zes maanden geldig is.
- A guarantee of the financial means necessary to cover the costs of your stay. You can live comfortably with monthly expenses at about 1.200 EUROS. Please check the university website.
- Private health insurance with an insurance company authorized in Spain. Travel insurance will not be accepted.
- A medical certificate stating that you do not suffer from any kind of illness that could generate severe repercussions on Public Health, according to the 2005 International Sanitary Regulation.
- Criminal record reports from each country where you have resided for more than 6 months within the past 5 years.
- The Admission Letter issued by MIUC for you to attend a full-time programme leading to a qualification/diploma or certificate of study.
- Proof of accommodation.
If you submit all your supporting documents to the Embassy at the same time as your application, your visa could be processed within one month.

Cost of Living
The cost of living in Marbella can vary significantly depending on the student´s lifestyle. Compared to other European cities, where living space is scarce and often overpriced for its standards, Marbella can be a very affordable place to live. Living expenses such as food, leisure, utilities, and transportation can comfortably be covered with 600€ per month.

It is very near local bus routes that are very well connected, linking towns and cities across the country.

The duration of a standard long-term rental contract is 11 months and most landlords require a one or two-month deposit. The commission charged by the estate agent for their services will be a month’s rent.
The difficulty of finding a property significantly increases during the months before and during the summer season so to fully benefit from this option, students should inform us of their requirements as early as possible before their course begins in September or February.
